My story pretty much starts out the same as the rest, drawing and scribbling for as long as I can remember. The focus started pretty young, as my dad was more of a fine artist, which led to lessons on drawing simple anatomy and still-lifes. As I got older, my tastes began to pan out, and it wasn't long till I started crafting my own characters. From children's tales, to skate/extreme sports paraphernalia, to Ska band profiles, I kept it pretty diverse.
It wasn't until high school that I got immersed in the Japanese style of illustration. It pretty much took up my life throughout the experience, and it also was the birth of my first full-scale universe. I attended college for Media Arts and Animation at the Art Institute of Philadelphia, gaining more edge in more skill, but it was there that I truly discovered how diverse my creativity could truly be. A few best of quarters here and there, my talent grew by being around people of the same passion.
During the whole experience, I grew as both a digital and traditional artist, branching off into the 3d realm/flash, and pre-production/post production platforms. Building and fine-tuning storyline/background information became a big part of me as well, as I began to crave engineering and drawing other types of universes, beyond style and in hybridization. Graduation came quickly, and I found myself in more of a graphic design plane, picking up and flowing with vector artwork at a rapid pace. Mixing it all together, and I pretty much began constructing all sorts of visual materials. I hope to continue the lineage of creativity wherever it takes me.
